Railinc Names Greg Smith AVP, Customer Experience
CARY, NC—November 12, 2013 (James Street Media Services)—Railinc Corp. announced today that Greg Smith was named Assistant Vice President, Customer Experience. Smith will provide vision and leadership for Railinc’s customer support, product support, and rail industry relations teams. He will also lead activities including business direction, product delivery, and customer service. Smith will report to Allen West, president and CEO.
“Greg brings to Railinc more than 14 years of management experience leading business transformations, operational excellence and supply-chain initiatives for Fortune 100 companies,” West said. “His expertise will be invaluable as we continue to focus on operational excellence.”
Prior to joining Railinc, Smith was the director of educational services for Manhattan Associates, an Atlanta-based provider of global supply-chain products and services. He previously held professional service and consulting positions in the firm.
Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
